Two new poems of mine, in a new anthology, “I Come From the World”

I’m thrilled to be part of this new venture–and to have my poem alongside that of fellow Baltimorean and distinguished  poet Baron Wormser!

Read two of my poems , “The Glamorganshire Bible” and “The Kid: Cumberland 1923”–here:

  1. Congratulations, Lynne. My Art4Artists group is going to do a joint “I Come from Poem” with our city’s poetry Laureate, Paulette Hansel, to be included with a handmade book of images, as well — each members contributing to the pages, and to the poem. All the best to you. Mo >

  2. I’ve read the poems before, but today, during a heat wave, I am experiencing chills. The poems have staying power, Lynne. This is your family and it is not like mine at all, but the story is now a part of me. Imagine making your way so young. Imagine creating whole worlds out of a combination of courage and desperation.
